We help our clients to remain current in their compliance in relation to their environmental, health and safety responsibilities. We do this in a manner that minimises any impact on the daily operations of the site.

Danny Keohane

Danny is a Civil Engineer with vast experience in the Irish petroleum industry. He started his career with Texaco having key responsibilities in service station and oil depot construction and maintenance. He also had a leading role in environment, health & safety matters. He was a member of Texaco’s International Oil-Spill Response Team. Danny founded Keohane Consulting Engineers in 2004 offering his expertise to the petroleum industry. He currently works with oil companies, retail petroleum groups and individual site operators. Services provided include Petroleum Licensing for service stations and oil depots, Vapour Recovery Testing (Stage 1b and Stage 2), Competent Person Training and H&S advisor.

Danny completed a degree in Civil Engineering (University College Cork) and Post Graduate Diplomas in Occupational Safety and Health (University College Dublin), and Environmental Engineering (Trinity College Dublin). He has also completed all relevant petrol filling station courses with the APEA and all IOSH approved Atex training courses. He is an approved FETAC trainer. Danny is active with the APEA and currently serves as treasurer on the Irish branch committee.

A keen cyclist and an active member of Blarney Golf Club, Danny is a founding member of Coolmine Rugby Club.

Brian McGloughlin

Brian is a fire, health and safety specialist based in Dublin. He currently acts as a Health and Safety (H&S) Advisor within a number of industries including a number of retail petroleum groups. The remit of these clients varies, but include the provision of on-site Audits to assess H&S / Quality compliance and subsequently the provision of detailed assessment reports following each client audit. He also evaluates whether the Client’s Management Systems comply with H&S and Employment Legislation by conducting a review of the Client’s Safety Statements, Risk Assessments, Method Statements / SOPs, Policies & Procedures etc. which are reviewed and updated annually or as required.

Brian completed an MBA and an MSc in Human Resource Management with the Open University before going on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and a Post Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management with University College Dublin (UCD). Brian is also a Certified Lead Auditor in ISO: 9001: 2015 & ISO 13485: 2016 and is currently completing a B. Eng. in Fire Engineering with Waterford Institute of Technology.

Brian is a keen angler and enjoys both seawater and freshwater fishing.
